A lap joint flange (1) for joining a flanged pipe composed of an annular body having holes for tightening bolts or tie rods, slipped over the pipe having a flanged end and tightened by a plurality of bolts passing through the holes of the annular body of the flange, has a flat inner portion (2) orthogonal to the axis of the annular body, defining an abutment face (3) against the flanged end of the pipe and a truncated conical or truncated pyramidal outer portion (4) crossed by said holes (5) for the passage of the tightening bolts. The holes for the passage of the stems of the tightening bolts are formed through cylindrical boss-like protrusions (6) present at least on the concave face of the truncated conical or pyramidal outer portion (4).
