The perspective image display method provides a perspective image (B) representing the travel situation ahead of the vehicle from the point of view of an automobile passenger, by adjusting the size of the image elements (4A) in dependence on a travel parameter of the vehicle and/or a parameter of an identified object in the vehicle travel path.
