The equipment includes several emergency telephones (4) connected to a central office via communications link. A connection port (5) identifies and locates an operating telephone and connects it to the central office. At least one emergency telephone is provided with an identification module (7) that allows functions to be performed of the type associated with the calling lines (2,3), that are not provided for in the connection port (5).
