The device for waterheating has been developed for the field of motor caravans and motorboats in order to produce hot water relatively simply and cost-effectively. The water is heated via a heat exchanger which is located in the lower region of the storage container (see drawing) and is connected to the cooling system of the engine. If required, the water can also be heated via a 220 V AC heating resistor. The temperature range (max. 60 DEG C) which is set is maintained via a sensor by a controller which switches a solenoid valve or a relay. The operating voltage of 12 V DC for this purpose is taken from the vehicle's generator or battery. <IMAGE> |
