PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing tape and a tape cartridge by which a three- dimensional image such as characters can be easily formed with the help of a small-size and low-priced common-type tape printing device as well as a method for forming a three-dimensional image. SOLUTION: The printing tape prints with an insoluble ink to a specified solvent and is characterized in that the tape comprises a recording face formed on the surface, a recording tape layer which is soluble to the solvent, a polymer swelling layer which is laminated on the back side of the recording tape layer and has swell characteristics to the solvent, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which is laminated on the back side of the polymer swelling layer and a peelable tape layer laminated on the back side of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. |
