PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibeam light source and an aligning method which eliminate degradation or variance in a combining efficiency with an optical fiber by means of a simple structure, even if warpage occurs in the substrate of an optical waveguide. SOLUTION: In this multibeam light source in which an optical fiber array 1 and an optical waveguide 4 are combined, plural optical fibers 2 of the optical fiber array 1 are each arranged at a prescribed position, so as to correspond to each position of the plural waveguide cores 4a of the optical waveguide 4 changed by the warpage of the optical waveguide 4.
