PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shawls to put on the body excellent in thermal insulation, and having not only flexibility but also soft touch, relief at sight, and such functions as water repellency, bacteriostaticity and deodorizing capability. SOLUTION: These shawls comprise a fibrous structure having a planar exothermic element inside thereof; alternatively, a planar exothermic element is provided inside, the periphery of the planar exothermic element is coated with a coating material of electrical insulation, and furthermore the periphery of the coating material is covered with a textile fabric.
