In one embodiment this invention provides a homogeneous antiperspirant cosmetic stick or roll-on product containing a deodorant ingredient which consists of particles that contain multiple fine crystallit es of bicarbonate compound encapsulated with a hydrophilic polymer coating that lowers the relative density of the particles, and improves the dimensional stability of the cosmetic product.
