PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction equipment for a rotary press-in pile for improving the workability by definitely transmitting a torque to a pile, and a method therefor. SOLUTION: This construction equipment comprises a grip mechanism for gripping a steel pipe portion 4b of a rotary press-in pile 4 in a detachable manner, a rotary drive equipment for giving a torque to the gripping mechanism, and a lift cylinder mechanism for supporting the gripping mechanism and the rotary drive equipment, and a high friction material such as high friction steel plate 24 or the like is fixed to the pile gripping portion in the gripping mechanism as the features.
