PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely restrict the forward movement of an occupant without deteriorating the comfortableness in the case where car speed of an automobile is quickly reduced, and form the seat light in weight with the simple structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: A stopper member 13 extended in the cross direction of a seat cushion 1 is arranged inside a front part of the seat cushion 1, and while this stopper member 13 is supported by a guide groove 10 freely to be moved in the vertical direction, and the stopper member 13 is energized upward by a compression spring 15. When an occupant seats on the seat cushion 1, the stopper member 13 is lowered while resisting the compression spring 15 so as to maintain the comfortableness, and in the case where a hip part of the occupant is moving forward when quickly reducing the car speed, the stopper member 13 to be moved in the only vertical direction is pushed from behind thereof so as to receive the hip part of the occupant, and the forward movement of the occupant can be securely restricted.
