HANDRAIL AND PHYSICAL STRENGTH JUDGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail structure allowing anybody to determine the optimum position of a handrail for users, and to provide a physical strength judging method using the handrail. SOLUTION: A force sensor is provided on a supporting portion 2a to be mounted on a wall face 3 for measuring force applied on a handrail. The handrail has a handrail portion 1 provided with the force sensor and a mounting plate 4 mounted on the wall face 3, the handrail portion 1 having a supporting portion 2c rotationally formed at both ends and the mounting plate 4 having a fitting hole 4a into which the supporting portion 2c is fitted. The fitting hole 4a contains a display element 4b showing the fitting position of the supporting portion 2c. In addition, it has a pair of parallel rails 5 and a horizontal moving portion 6 movable in horizontal on the rail 5, the horizontal moving portion 6 having a vertical rail 6a on which the handrail portion 1 using the force sensor is installed so as to be movable in vertical. The horizontal moving portion 6 and the handrail portion 1 can be moved by using an actuator.
