PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small electronic apparatus in which a heating element can be cooled efficiently by utilizing the gap between the bottom wall face of a housing and a mounting board effectively. SOLUTION: A metal housing 3 contains a board 2 mounting a heating element 1 and an air-cooled area 5 to be introduced and exhausted forcibly with cooling air through a cooling fan 4 is defined in a space formed by the bottom wall face 3a of the metal housing 3 and the mounting board 2. The heating element 1 is coupled with the air-cooled area 5 through a heat pipe 6 and the air-cooled area 5 side end part of the heat pipe 6 is exposed to the inner wall thus constituting a part of the inner wall of the air-cooled area 5.
