<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an earthquake resistant pipe having a joint part of a socket and a spigot with the earthquake resistant function underground by a pipe jacking method. SOLUTION: An earthquake resistant structure with the detachment preventive function and the expansion function is provided between the socket 12 and the spigot 14. A projecting part 25 is formed on an outer surface of the spigot 14 outside the socket 12. A flanged bolt 27 is mounted on the projecting part 25 with the projecting part 25 penetrating in the axial direction. The projecting part 25 and the bolt 27 can transmit the jacking force in installing the pipeline between the socket 12 and the spigot 14 by bringing a tip part of the bolt 27 into contact with an end portion of the socket 12, and when a large force is applied between the socket 12 and the spigot 14, a fitting flange 28 to the projecting part 22 at the bolt 27 is broken by this force, and the spigot 14 is allowed to enter more inward of the socket 12 on the distal side than a case where the spigot 14 transmits the jacking force.</p> |
