<p>The invention relates to a biological purification plant for residual waters equipped with two anaerobic digestors and to a purification process consisting of a monitored double anaerobic reactor system, the first of which is a fixed bed reactor for fixing acidogenic bacteria and the second reactor is a fluid bed reactor for fixing methanogenic bacteria, the capacity of the second reactor being 1.5 times greater than that of the first reactor, wherein the first reactor ensures the flow of the spillage having neutral pH and no heavy metals to the second reactor by means of a mid-height suspended design of the fixed bed on a cross-linked plate supported by an inverse decantation wall, a slanted plane and a pump and a water recirculation conduit carrying mean suspended matter and associated with an alkaline dosifier, a pH meter and a computer program, thereby optimizing the yield of the methanogenic bacteria biomass and reducing hydraulic residence time to 1-3 days.</p> |
