PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe installing structure which prevents a shoe from getting out of position and coming off as well as facilitates the installing and the removal of the shoe, in a tensioner lever composed by detachably installing the shoe on an arm. SOLUTION: On one side surface of a bent arm 1, cutting grooves 7 and 7 are formed, and on its outer peripheral surface, holes 8 and 8 are provided, while at the chain running start end, a groove 9 are formed. While the rear surface of a shoe 2 is abutted to the arm outer peripheral surface 5, L-shape engaging pieces 13 and 13 formed on the one side surface are engaged to the cutting grooves 7 and 7 of the arm, projecting line pieces 15 projected from the rear surface 14 are fitted to the holes 8 on the arm outer peripheral surface, and a projection 12 provided at the chain running start end is fitted to the groove 9.
