PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the setting operation labor of a user on the client side. SOLUTION: The start information of an application program(AP) to be used while being linked with a browser 11 is transmitted from the WWW server 50 side to a client 10. A start control program 13 automatically starts the AP shown by the start information. Besides, a macro document, in which a macro instruction to the AP is described, is transmitted from a server 20 to the client 10.
