PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration sensor for vehicle capable of minimizing the difference in sensitivity depending on the difference in the direction of the acceleration applied to a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this acceleration sensor for vehicle 10, a bracket 30 is rotatably provided on the seat back 16 of a reclining seat 14, and an oil damper 40 is provided on the bracket 30. In the sudden deceleration of the vehicle, the oil damper 40 suppresses the rotation of the bracket 30 with a large suppressing force, and a sensor ball 44 placed on the bracket 30 is moved to normally operate the acceleration sensor device 10. Therefore, the difference in sensitivity depending on the difference in direction of the acceleration applied to the vehicle can be minimized. In the tilting operation of the seat back 16, since the oil damper 40 hardly suppresses the rotation of the bracket 30, and the bracket 30 is rotated by a weight 42 fixed to the bracket 30, the original function of the device 10 can be kept. |
