PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion method of regenerative combustion equipment for reduction combustion which combusts a fuel with high heat efficiency without generating soot nor causing the clogging of a heat storage material. SOLUTION: Regenerative combustion equipment is provided at least with one pair of regenerative burners Bra and Brb. Each of the burners is composed of a burner section 1 having a fuel supply nozzle 2 and a heat storage chamber 3 housing a heat storage material 4 on its furnace walls, and causes the burners Bra and Brb to alternately make combustion and exhaust. The unburnt fuel in the exhaust gas is completely combusted by adjusting the air-fuel ratio to <1.0 at the time of combustion and, at the same time, by supplying air for combustion to the high temperature-side space R of the heat storage chamber 3 of the regenerative burner which is in an exhausting state. |
