<p>A 3-D image display method and 3-D image display device, requiring no special glasses, easily providing multiple eyes, and capable of switching to a 2-D image and being formed in a thin shape. A light source means (200) in which are arranged in a matrix form unit light emitting blocks each having light emitting units arranged at q locations belonging to mutually different columns and different rows in a matrix of q columns and q rows when parallax number p=q r, a horizontal cylindrical lens array (300), and an image display device (400) are provided; and light fluxes respectively radially emitted from respective light emitting unit (211) are allowed to pass through a display surface with at least a width of p pixels at a horizontal section, and, at a vertical section, are condensed every (q-1) pixels on the display surface by the lens action of the horizontal cylindrical lens array (300) and then diffused vertically, thereby forming an observation region in which horizontal parallax images different for respective adjacent column-forming strip regions are visible.</p> |
