PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and efficient process for the industrial production of a bisperfluoroalkylsulfonimide compound useful as a Lewis acid catalyst and an organic ionic conductor. SOLUTION: A bisperfluoroalkylsulfonimide compound is produced by reacting a mixture composed of a perfluoroalkyl halide and a bis(chlorosulfonyl)imide compound in a solvent in the presence of one or more 0-valent metals selected from metals of the 1-12 groups of the periodic table.
