<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of a handrail and prevent the falling of children. SOLUTION: A safety fence 1 is mounted on a main shaft 3 of a handrail 2. The main shaft 3 is mounted on a fixed plate 5 and the safety fence 1 is rotated with a spring 6. A conventional handrail 2 formed in a T-plate structure and locked with machine screws can be open/closed and the parts thereof can be replaced. The safety fence 1 is attached thereto to prohibit easy getting-over even in taking a grip on the handrail 2. Easy getting-over is prohibited even in taking a grip on the safety fence 1 because of its rotation. The safety fence 1 can be laid and mounted on a conventional handrail as it is if its members are changed.</p> |
