PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer which is obtained by a vapor-phase polymerization method in the presence of a catalyst, has a low cold-xylene-soluble (CXS component) content, and is almost free from troubles, such as blocking, when formed into a film or sheet. SOLUTION: This copolymer is obtained by a vapor-phase polymerization in the presence of a catalyst and has (A) a melt flow rate(MFR) of 0.3-5.0 g/10 min, (B) a melt flow rate ratio(MFRR) of 20 or higher, (C) a density(D) of 0.910-0.930 g/cm3, and (D) a cold-xvlene-soluble(CXS) content (wt.%) in the range represented by the relationship: 1.50×10-4×d-125×MFR0.5+0.3>=CXS.
