PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a folding table which is made by arranging a plurality of slender plate-like top plate members in parallel with each other which can be easily manufactured and stably folded. SOLUTION: Each of top plate members 1 which needs be folded is formed with pivotal shafts 23 in parts of end faces which are near adjacent top plate members 1. Those adjacent top plate members 1 are connected by movable connectors 3 provided on both ends with engagement holes, being separated by such a distance that allows the top plate members to be moved from a parallelly arranged position to a stacked position. Some of adjacent top plate members which do not need folding are connected by the end boards by fixed connectors so that they may be connected and fixed in parallel with each other.
