PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mechanical parking equipment with which a space required for a carriageway can be decreased when shifting a car's course at the time of leaving a car shed. SOLUTION: A control unit section outputs control signal to a drive motor 16f for the front wheel for carrying at the first carrying velocity v1 by the front wheel carrying conveyor 15f, and a control signal is output to the rear wheel drive motor 16r so as to let the rear wheel carrying conveyor 15r carry at a velocity smaller than the first carrying velocity v1 but at the second carrying velocity v2 higher than zero. In this way, the carrying distance by the front wheel by the conveyor 15f for the front wheel carrying per unit time becomes higher than that of the rear wheel carrying conveyor 15r, and the attitude of the motor vehicle C in the middle of carrying is gradually tilted toward the carrying direction by the carrying conveyors 15f, 15r and the attitude of the motor vehicle C when carried to the leaving and entering berths 2 is greatly shifted to a direction tilted toward the carrying direction of the carrying conveyors 15f, 15r.
