PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the header-type water supply/hot water supply piping of an apartment house for reducing the total extension of piping and has improved economy and execution property even if hot-water supply equipment for an upper-floor dwelling house installed at a first-floor dwelling house. SOLUTION: In an apartment house where facilities regarding water are provided for each housing, a main water supply pipe 2 and a main hot water supply pipe 20 being separately guided to each dwelling house are branched to a plurality of branch pipes 4, 22,... via headers 3 and 21 being installed for each dwelling house, are connected to the corresponding facilities regarding water, and at the same time a sub header 46 for an upper-floor dwelling house is installed at a first-floor dwelling house to supply water to hot-water supply equipment 10 for an upper-floor dwelling house being provided at the first-floor house, and the sub header 46 is included at the upstream side than the headers 3 and 21 at the main water supply pipe 2 for the upper-floor house, and the branch pipes 4, 22,... being branched from the sub header 46 are connected to the hot-water supply equipment 10 for the upper-floor house.
