PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of pouring molten metal which is suitable to high speed pouring of the molten metal and can contribute to the improvement of the productivity. SOLUTION: This control method of pouring the molten metal, is the one, in which a vessel having a pouring hole and holding the molten metal and a tilting device for tilting the vessel, are used and the molten metal is poured into a mold from the pouring hole in the vessel by tilting the vessel with the tilting device and a command for stopping of pouring the molten metal, is outputted accompanied with the completion of pouring the molten metal into the mold to return back the tilting. A molten metal weight detecting means for detecting the present weight of the molten metal in the vessel, is used and when the molten metal is poured in each mold, the present weight of the molten metal in the vessel at least in the latter half period on the way of pouring the molten metal into one mold from the pouring hole in the vessel, is obtained. The difference between this present weight and the weight of the molten metal in the vessel at the stopping of pouring the molten metal in the other one of the mold poured just before the one of the mold is obtained, and when this difference reaches the setting value, the commands for stopping of pouring the molten metal P1, P2, P3... are outputted to the tilting device for pouring the molten metal to return back the tilting of the vessel.
