FOAMING AGENT COMPOSITION AND FOAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foaming agent composition capable of raising the decomposition rate and increasing the volume of a generated gas by reducing the decomposition temperature of a dihydrazide compound or a hydrazo compound which could not conventionally suitably be used as the foaming agent. SOLUTION: This foaming agent composition comprises (A) at least one kind selected from a dihydrazide compound and a hydrazo compound and (B) at least one kind selected from molybdenum and a molybdic acid compound. The foam is obtained by adding the foaming agent composition to the material to be foamed, decomposing the foaming agent contained in the foaming agent composition and thereby foaming the material to be foamed.
