PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structural members for building, with which each building can be completed in a short period of time, while reducing building cost and the consumption of forest resources. SOLUTION: This structural member 1 for building has a long-sized flat plate portion 3 and a pair of bar-shaped edge portions 2, 2 arranged at both the end portions along the longitudinal direction of a flat plate portion 3, and the flat plate portion 3 and bar-shaped edge portions 2, 2 are formed integrally in a formwork, using at least industrial refuse as aggregate.
