<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope in which normal light illumination and illumination with a special wavelength light is selectively switched, wherein switching is performed by the operator when necessary. SOLUTION: Electronic endoscope comprising a scope 10, image sensor 12 located at a distal end, and image signal processing unit 14, wherein a video signal is composed in image signal processing unit based on the image element signal obtained by image sensor. The front side of the distal end of the scope is selectively illuminated with normal light and special wavelength light. Normal light and special wavelength light is switched with a turnover switch (88, 90, 92), which is located at s site easily operated by an operator.</p> |
