PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is fear of executing the ground processing to a part other than the ground since the ground processing is executed based on a density section maximizing the number of pixels in a pixel number histogram concerning the density of the original image in a conventional method for executing the ground processing such as removing the ground density of an original from the original image obtained from the original. SOLUTION: This device extracts an objective area where a difference value between a pixel under consideration on an original image and a pixel in the neighborhood of the pixel under consideration becomes equal to or larger than a threshold and respectively counts the number of pixels belonging to each density band between each section value dividing density in the original picture into plural ones and the lowest density with respect to only pixels included in the objective area to generate the density distribution to execute suitable ground processing. |
