PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on the trouble needed in a design step because a conventional data communication system stores data received from a network in an input memory part performing a FIFO operation and the input memory part occupies a large area on a substrate and needs a logic circuit for performing the FIFO operation apart from a storage area. SOLUTION: This data communication system is provided with an MAC on which a dual port RAM which can independently execute a data storing operation and a data reading operation instead of the input memory part and an output memory part performing a FIFO operation and does not need the logic circuit made to perform a FIFO operation any more, the dual port RAM manages communication data in place of the main memory part of the system, and a CPU directly accesses the dual port RAM by the interface function of a transferring part and can expand the communication data.
