PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which has high light-emitting efficiency and excellent color-purity. SOLUTION: This is a light-emitting element in which a substance conducting light emission exists between positive electrode and negative electrode and which emits light by electric energy. It is characterized that the light-emitting element contains a metallic complex composed of ligands having dipyridyl-amine skeleton.
