摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping mechanism, which has high degrees of freedom for a device constitution such as arrangement of a clamp opening/closing operation part. SOLUTION: There are provided an optical fiber arranging tool 3, of which the surface a V groove 9 is formed in, a clamp member 5 which retains an optical fiber arranged in the V groove 9, and a clamp arm 15 which performs the moving operation in the clamp closing direction to bring the clamp member 5 close to the optical fiber arranging tool 3 and the moving operation in the clamp opening direction to separate the clamp member 5 from the optical fiber arranging tool. A wire operation button 13 is provided at a position off the clamp arm 15, and a wire insertion hole 11 is provided between the wire operation button 13 and the clamp arm 15, and a wire 10 is inserted freely movably through the wire insertion hole 11, and one end side 17 of the wire 10 is connected to the wire operation button 13. A movement direction conversion means is provided, which converts forward/backward movement of the wire 10 to movement in the clamp opening/closing direction of the clamp arm 15 at the time, when the wire 10 is moved forward/backward along the wire insertion hole 11 by the wire operation button 13.
