PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wiring topology display in which a wiring length, a wiring order and the type of elements can easily be recognized. SOLUTION: This wiring topology display device consists of a displaying part which displays wiring topology, an operating part which performs an operation that is needed to display the wiring topology, an image material storing part which stores each component of the wiring topology as an image, a topology storing part which stores the wiring length, the wiring order, a device type and the types of an input and an output, the number of wiring images calculating part which converts the wiring length in the topology storing part into the number of wiring images and an image material arrangement processing part which arranges and calculates the data of the topology storing part on an image matrix on the displaying part while correlating the data to the images of the image material storing part, and decides a display position by converting it to the number of wiring images on the basis of the logarithm of the wiring length. It is possible to grasp the outline of the wiring simply by looking at the topology display because the number of wiring images is defined in accordance with the wiring length.
