PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feedback-type displacement measuring apparatus by which the displacement of an object to be measured can be measured with a small power consumption, by supplying a power supply intermittently and by deviating its time to respective constituent parts constituting the displacement measuring apparatus, and the respective constituent parts intermittently while their timings are synchronized. SOLUTION: This feedback-type displacement measuring apparatus 1 is constituted of a displacement sensor 10, an A/D converter 20 by which the output signal of the displacement sensor is converted into a digital value, a circuit 30 which generates a feedback signal in order to return a displacement measuring part to a neutral point on the basis of the obtained digital value, a reference-signal generation circuit 40, and a power supply 50 which operates the constituent parts. The power supply is supplied intermittently to the constituent parts while their timing is synchronized, and the displacement of an object to be measured is measured with a small power consumption.
