PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system that can simultaneously make setting of input output devices and communication terminals interconnected by a LAN so as to facilitate the setting job and maintenance management. SOLUTION: Setting data, a transfer destination and a transfer time are registered in advance in a management terminal 6. When the transfer time comes, the management terminal 6 transmits an instruction of an operation stop to a registered device. Recorders 1, 2 or communication terminals 3, 4 receiving an operation stop instruction stop their operations and return the acknowledgement to the management terminal 6. After confirming the acknowledgement from all the devices to which the management terminal 6 sends the operation stop instruction, the terminal transfers the setting data. The recorders 1, 2 or communication terminals 3, 4 receiving the setting data set their own devices on the basis of the setting data and inform the end of setting to the management terminal 6 after the setting is completed.
