The processing method, for stripping and/or separation of a mineral-insulated electrical line, uses laser cutting for machining along at least one radial line (3a,3b)of the metal mantle sleeve (2) of the latter, with subsequent laser cutting along at least one axial line (4a,4b) and treatment of the mineral-insulated electrical line using ultrasound.
