The handrail for a toilet can swivel from the vertical to the horizontal position. The pivot for the handrail has a mounting which supports the rail when it is in the horizontal position. This consists of a disk (4) which has slots in the shape of a sector of a ring covering 90 deg . Bolts (5) fit into either end of each slot.
