PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting an air cleaner from lean burn fire in a LPG vehicle is provided to protect a housing of the air cleaner from explosive force caused by lean burn fire in a suction system of an engine, thereby improving the reliability of the product. CONSTITUTION: In an air cleaner including a lower housing(2) having a suction port(1), an upper housing(4) having a discharge port(3), and a filter(5) mounted inside of the lower and upper housing, an apparatus for protecting the air cleaner from lean burn fire in a LPG vehicle includes an emitting port(6) formed on the upper surface of the upper housing for emitting explosive force and closed with a blind cap(7), so that the explosive pressure is transmitted through the discharge port of the upper housing and discharged to the emitting port with pushing and breaking away the blind cap.
