摘要 PURPOSE: A method for setting an IPC node address in an exchange in a communication system is provided to make an HRPA(HIPC Routing control Processor board Assembly) variably set an IPC node address for each node by only a change of a package, as an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) receives IPC node addresses from the package and loads it to the HRPA. CONSTITUTION: An HRPA finds out a node allocated to an OMP(S10). If the HRPA finds out the node allocated to the OMP, an IPC communication path between the HRPA and the OMP is generated(S20). The HRPA receives IPC node addresses from the OMP through the IPC communication path and stores the addresses in its own memory and NVRAM(NonVolatile RAM). The MINA(MSC IPC Node board Assembly) sets an IPC address for each node using the stored IPC node addresses(S30). If IPC node address setting is completed, processors connected to their respective nodes carry out communication mutually. The OMP sequentially loads an operating system to its own standby side and processors through each of the corresponding nodes(S40).
