PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metal-ceramic bonded material capable of securing hardness necessary for abrasion-resistant performances in a metal body, having excellent bond strength between the metal body and a ceramic body. SOLUTION: A tappet 1 is constituted of the metal body 2 and the ceramic body 3 integrated by bonding through a solder material layer 4 containing at least >=90 wt.% Cu. The thickness of the solder material layer 4 is adjusted to a range of >=30μm and <=500μm so as to secure fixed ductility while retaining bond strength of the solder material layer 4. The surface layer of the outer peripheral face of a stem frame 2a of the metal body 2 is provided with a hardened part by nitriding treatment so as to raise its hardness from the viewpoint of abrasion resistance.
