METHOD FOR REGENERATING SOUNDPROOFING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse waste material such as trimmings of a soundproofing material obtained by binding a chiplike solid matter of a lightweight material with a fibrous binder after regenerating the unnecessary material as a good quality raw material for the chiplike solid matter. SOLUTION: The waste material of a soundproofing material is regenerated into a good quality raw material for a chiplike solid matter by performing a fibrillation/decomposition process to scrape the unnecessary material little by little with the help of a protruding member for scraping while restraining the material under a compressed state and then a fibrillation/decomposition process to crush the material to the specified particle diameter using a shredder. Further, the regenerated raw material for the chiplike solid matter is immediately reloaded into a soundproofing material manufacturing line.
