SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING EFFECTIVENESS OF LINK BY USING DATA STORAGE DEVICE

PURPOSE: A link effectiveness detection system and method is provided to check the change of the contents referred by a link by using a version or a time stamp data of a document or a multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of reading a position data stored in a position data field of a link made in advance(S1), going to the position and checking if a text or a multimedia data exists at the position(S2), obtaining data corresponding to an effective detection field at a reference data if the data exists at the position(S3), checking if the obtained data is identical to the data stored in an effective detection field of a link(S4), performing a corresponding reference process in the case that the obtained data is identical to the data stored in an effective detection field of a link(S5), and making a reference error process in the case that the obtained data is different from the data stored in an effective detection field of a link(S6).
