PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeler capable of reducing burdens applied on the arm or the like of a worker and improving work efficiency. SOLUTION: This peeler 1 for manually peeling the skin of vegetables and fruits is provided with a holding member 4 functioning as a handle, a supporting member 3 pivotally supported by the holding member 4 and turnable within a prescribed range and a blade member 2 supported by the supporting member 3 and provided with a linear blade 6. Then, the blade 6 of the blade member 2 is vertically moved by the rotation of the arm U of the worker.
