PURPOSE: A cooling air circulation system for refrigerator is provided to maintain uniform temperature distribution throughout the freezing compartment and the refrigerating compartment by installing blower fans for the freezing compartment and the refrigerating compartment, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A cooling air circulation system comprises an evaporator(20) mounted at the rear of a freezing compartment(12); a freezing compartment blower fan(22) mounted at the rear of the freezing compartment and which supplies and circulates cooling air to the freezing compartment; a louver(26) mounted in front of the evaporator and the freezing compartment blower fan; a sirocco fan(50) mounted, as a refrigerating compartment blower fan, at the rear of a refrigerating compartment and which supplies cooling air to the refrigerating compartment; and a cooling air supply duct for supplying the cooling air which is heat-exchanged with the evaporator. The cooling air supply duct includes a freezing compartment cooling air return duct(30) arranged to connect the bottom of the freezing compartment and the bottom of the evaporator; a refrigerating compartment cooling air return duct(32) connecting the top of the refrigerating compartment and the bottom of the evaporator; and refrigerating compartment cooling air supply ducts(60,70).
