PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new adamantane derivative useful as a raw material, etc., for dental materials. SOLUTION: This adamantane derivative is represented by formula (1) [wherein R1 and R2 are each same or different and denote each hydrogen atom or methyl group; R3 and R4 are each same or different and denote each hydrogen atom or methyl group; A1 and A2 are each same or different and denote each a group represented by the formula (wherein A3 denotes a 1-6C linear or branched chainlike alkylene group; and the right side is the side of the adamantane ring in the above formula); X denotes a 1-12C linear or branched chainlike alkylene group; and m and n denote each 0 or 1].
