摘要 PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring an electric wave are provided to economically and effectively perform electric wave measurement and coverage prediction by calculating an ISC(in-cell interference spectral density) value and an IOC(outer-cell interference spectral density) value after measuring reserved base stations sequentially. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring an electric wave is provided with a signal generator(40), a CDMA signal amplifier(41), a mobile terminal(42), a GPS receiver(44), and a PC(43). The signal generator(40) generates a CDMA signal to measure EC/IO and RSSI only. The CDMA signal amplifier(41) amplifies the CDMA signal generated from the signal generator(40). The mobile terminal(42) measures EC/IO and RSSI using the signal received from the CDMA signal amplifier(41). The GPS receiver(44) displays received data on the map. The PC(43) calculates an IOC value between reserved base stations, calculates an IOC value using traffic simulation and displays the calculated values together with GPS data on the map.
