<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by miniaturizing an input device capable of keyboard entry and plane entry. SOLUTION: In this input device 20, a plane input means is composed of a transparent touch panel 25 and an LCD unit 26. One part of the input plane of the transparent touch panel 25 is covered with a keyboard unit 21. On the keyboard unit 21, plural key units 22 are located and a position entry to the transparent touch panel 25 can be performed on the base of pressing operation. The key unit 22 is displaced by a stroke corresponding to pressing but the key unit 22 itself is not provided with a switch and the entry is processed as a coordinate entry to the transparent touch panel 25. The plane entry can be performed to the surface of the transparent touch panel 25 where the keyboard unit 21 is not provided.</p> |
