METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTION OF STAMMERING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect two stammering phenomena of a voiced pause and syllable prolongation with respect to a sound signal obtained by natural speaking. SOLUTION: An input sound signal including a voice is subjected to frequency analysis to quantitatively recognize acoustic features of a voiced pause, and a reliability of deciding a voice pause is evaluated on the basis of these features, and the reliability and a voiced pause section determined on the basis of them are outputted.
