PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information network using Ethernet realizing a long distance broadband multi-cast/broadcast. SOLUTION: Distribution selection group ports resulting from grouping part of ports of an Ethernet (R) switch are divided into a plurality of reception exclusive ports and one transmission exclusive port, and each Ethernet switch is connected so that a packet from the transmission exclusive port is distributed to the reception exclusive ports of all other Ethernet switches.
